About Us

Our Story

Mermagic Con was created in 2018 when mermaids who hosted a local meet-up dreamed of creating an event that would bring mermaids from all over the world together. The first convention, in 2019, was planned in only five months, but attracted mermaid enthusiasts from as far as Hawaii and Australia and broke attendance records for any mermaid convention anywhere. Clearly the mermaid community was seeking a way to gather…and with that splash, MerMagic Con was officially born.

MerMagic Con endeavors to create a space where mermaids of all background, abilities, and walks of life can come together for camaraderie, professional development and, of course, mermaid magic. With a focus on education and inclusivity, MerMagic Con brings to life their motto:  “Mermaiding Is For Everyone.”

Meet Our Team

Our all-volunteer staff works year-round to create the best expereince possible for mermaids of all levels and all walks of life.

In 2016 Morgana founded the Circus Siren Pod, the mermaid arm of her company Circus Siren Entertainment.
