Heather Mermaid is an internationally recognized professional mermaid performer, aquatic
artist, underwater model, and creative director, whose work has helped elevate modern
mermaiding as a respected performance art and global industry. She is the Founder and CEO
of Heather Mermaid Experience, a booming South Florida–based mermaid entertainment
and aquatic production company known for immersive, high-end performances and
destination experiences.

A PADI Certified Freediver, Rescue Diver, and PADI Mermaid Instructor, Heather brings a
strong foundation of safety, discipline, and professionalism to every aquatic environment she
enters. Her work blends athletic performance, mythological embodiment, and underwater
choreography, grounded in rigorous training standards and performer safety.
Under Heather’s leadership, Heather Mermaid Experience now represents a full pod of
highly trained, professional mermaid performers, delivering aquatic entertainment at many
of South Florida’s most iconic resorts and venues, including Pier Sixty-Six, the W, and
Margaritaville. The company is also sought after for private luxury and corporate events,
with clients and collaborations including Rolls-Royce, Babes In Toyland, Miami Swim Week,
and numerous bespoke high-end celebrations.

Heather’s career includes a lead performance role in the underwater burlesque productions
with Medusirena at the world-famous Wreck Bar, as well as performing in the iconic
Mermaids & Mimosas brunch experience — an important chapter in her professional mermaid
journey.

Her keynote topic, “The Road to Dubai,” reflects years of persistence, growth, and
international collaboration. Heather has worked with Deep Dive Dubai on advanced
underwater stunt photoshoots, contributing to high-impact aquatic visual storytelling. Most
recently, she spearheaded the professional mermaid shows at Atlantis Dubai, where she
helped curate, design, and choreograph performances, develop training programs and
safety protocols, and was hired as the Lead Mythical Creature for Atlantis’ commercial
production shoots.

Beyond entertainment, Heather is a passionate ocean advocate. She collaborates with Ocean
Rescue Alliance through the 1,000 Mermaids Artificial Reef Project, a global conservation
initiative using mermaid imagery and storytelling to promote reef restoration and marine
protection.

Expanding her work into holistic aquatic experiences, Heather is currently collaborating with
sound healers in the Polynesian Islands and is preparing to open applications for a humpback whale encounter and sound-healing retreat, weaving together ocean reverence, sound, breathwork, and mythic embodiment.
