Last Swim of the Summer!

Yes! MerMagic Con has worked with Camelback resort to allow tails for the first time ever, and exclusively for this event! To be allowed to wear your tail you MUST book one of the three “Last Swim of the Summer” packages linked here. Tails are not allowed if you book through any other package or website. You will also need to sign a waiver upon arrival and need to wear a MeMagic Con wristband so that the staff know you are with MerMagic Con and get to wear your tail.

Mermaid Besties Getaway:
Double Queen Suite
This spacious, oversized guest suite can sleep up to 6 guests. Our Deluxe Queen Suite features two queen beds and a living area that includes a queen sleeper sofa. Hallway Vanity. Room is equipped with a microwave and mini refrigerator.

King Premier Suite 
Made for a romantic getaway! Relax by the suite’s cozy fireplace and enjoy mountain views or resort views. Our King Premier Suite offers a spacious, oversized guest suite that can sleep up to 4 guests, featuring one king-size bed and a separate living area that includes a queen sleeper sofa and a second TV. Step out into the balcony and enjoy fresh air with mountain or resort views. Wet bar with a coffeemaker, microwave and mini refrigerator included.

Pod Party Package:
Two Bedroom Deluxe with Balcony!
The Two Bedroom Deluxe offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms and sleeps up to 8 guests, providing even more space and privacy for families, friends or groups traveling together. The master bedroom features one king bed, private bathroom, bedroom vanity and a private balcony. The second bedroom features two queen beds. The spacious dining/ living room has dining set for 6, a wet bar equipped with a coffeemaker, microwave and mini refrigerator. A queen sleeper sofa faces a cozy fireplace and leads to a second balcony overlooking the mountain view.

You don’t! MerMagic Con is not selling tickets to this event. Rather, we are partnering with the resort to create a weekend of Mermaid Magic, and to allow mermaids a chance to actually enjoy their tails at a waterpark, since typically they are banned.

Sadly no. We tried our best but the lawyers wouldn’t go for that one.

It *is* actually less expensive to book through these packages because the website rate does not include both waterparks (a $55 a day, per person value). Booking on the website also does not come with the “Last swim of the Summer” exclusives.  You will not be able to wear a tail. And you won’t have access to the MerMagic Con exclusive events. 

Aquatopia is one of the biggest INDOOR waterparks in the country! The resort also offers a variety of indoor activities including rock walls and laser tag! Rain will not dampen the Magic!

Absolutely! We know how rare it is becoming to be able to be a mermaid at pools in general, a full water park much less too! As a guest of the resort, sponsored by your favorite convention, you are allowed to take photos and videos at will.

Camelback is an award-winning resort that has restaurants, a rock wall, an arcade, an escape room, ropes courses, VR experiences and even Laser tag. Your “Last Swim of the Summer” Package also includes access to both the indoor waterpark, “Aquatopia” (complete with swim up bar) and the outdoor waterpark, Camelbeach!

Additional occupants ARE allowed so you can make it a pod slumber party! Additional guests (past what the package includes) are $50 pp/pn for the 2 bedroom suite, and just $25pp/pn for the queen suite. Less than a day pass to the waterpark! Adding mers to your room is a great way to save money and increase fun.

While the event activities will take place Saturday, Sunday and Monday, the resort is extending this offer for all MerMagic Con Mermaids. This deal is good for all bookings between Thursday, August 31st and Tuesday September 5th so you can make it a full vacay!

Unfortunately it is not. Camelback’s overnight parking is $25 per vehicle, per night. They do also have Valet parking available for $40 per vehicle, per night.
